Hiya, my LO is 4 1/2 months and I am desperate to switch to FF, I am soon returning to work and I just feel ready to stop BF-ing

My issue is he WILL NOT take a bottle, point blank no, I promise I have tried everything over the last 3 weeks, including - different bottles, teats, tempratures, formulas, different times of day, different stages of hungry, my breast milk on own, my milk mixed, sippy cup me giving it, other people giving it, me not being in the house, feeding in a chair, feeding outside, warming teats and finally today I tried (after much heartache) refusing BF from 8.30 am, after 8 hrs trying to give a bottle I gave in through sheer heartbreak and fed him cos he just would not have it!

I am desperate now and totally at a loss what to do, please help!!!

hi, really sorry to hear your having these problems. I've been looking into the switch from breast to bottle and it seems it can be a struggle. I have heard that breast flow bottle can be good but you've maybe tried one. my friend switched at about 7 months and really struggle, she wishes she had started earlier. I'll ask her what worked in the end and post again but didn't like to leave you hanging x
