Basically we may end up using formula infrequently. The tin we have says to use the formula within 3 weeks of opening, but there is no way we'll get through all of it at the planned rate of use. I was wondering if anyone has any tips on storing the dry formula for longer? Can you freeze it, or have you found the tin storage recommendations ignorable, and if so for how long?
OH bought a large tin as that is all the store had and I'd rather it not go to waste...:coffee:

i wouldnt consider using it after the recommended time, but i am very fussy and wouldnt eat anything myself that had been open longer than recommended

if you only use it occasionally it may be worth while using cartons of ready made

I wouldn't use it after the 3 weeks either, using the ready made cartons would probably be the best idea. Otherwise, I know Cow & Gate do half tins as I saw them in Boots the other day, so maybe look for one of those
