hiya, im not sure if this is to do with my pregnancy but it has only been happening since ive been pregnant and it really really hurts, about once or twice a week in the night when im asleep i wake up with this unbearable pain down the calf of my leg it doesnt feel like cramp it feels like someone has cut my ligaments took a few inchs off and put them back together thats the sort of pain it is , last night was terrible i was nearlly crying i didnt have a clue what to do cos i cant move my leg i was just trying to move and rub it and after about a minute it goes , it seems to happen that in my sleep im stretching my legs a bit and thats what makes it happen but i can help doing it cos im asleep, it is sooo painfull, anyone else been getting this or know what it is ?? xxxx

i have been having this aswell in the middle of the night. i just try and get up as quickly as possible and shake it off, sometimes easier said than done lol.

first time i got it i woke up screamin in pain . oh thought i was bein attacked:rofl:

I had it this morning when I got up and my leg still feels achy now x

yh same my leg still aches now i was woken twice last nite once in each leg but god it really hurt in my left leg , i woke my partner cos i was shaking so much trying to get the pain away he ended up rubbing my leg with me i was scared to go back to sleep incase it happend again xxx

I had this too, it was so painful.......in a way I dreaded bed because of it, I also got the tired legs, where you couldn't keep them still, like a tired, dull achy feeling? That was horrible too and didn't help getting off to sleep!

Anyway, try drinking more milk see if that helps with the pain.....it seemed to with me, and also make sure you keep ya legs warm at night, that seemed to help too as I generally like my legs out of the blankets, but keeping them covered, had a food effect! x
