Strange period?

Hi I'm not actually TTC but since I'm a week late today and was getting symptoms (nausea particularly) I thought I'd post again...

Was spotting a bit last night which I thought was the start of my period. Test this morning is very negative. Didn’t bleed over night but this morning is some but its really brown. Still feeling like I’m gonna throw up real bad. What’s going on with me?

I don't have any advice hun, but just wanted to say that I often have light spotting for several days before AF actually starts (today is CD4 of spotting for me) so maybe AF is just taking a little longer this time?
