I woke in the night to pee and when I was laying in bed trying to get back to sleep I felt this "pop" in my vagina. No pain or discharge but was very weird.

I'm 18 weeks. Anyone else experienced this?

are you sure its not kicking? I get kicks there ALL the time! I sometimes think I'm gonna see a foot come out lol. It very much feels like a 'pop' and feels very strange. Now I'm 25 weeks I still get it but stronger, so now it feels more like a stomp!!

I'm not sure cos I haven't even felt any movement yet. I'm expecting movement soon anyway so maybe this was my first experience of it :)

sounds an awful lot like kicks to me :) and they do start off quite low, so would make sense! :)

How exciting! That does sound like movement :) once movement becomes evident, you'll probably realize the popping was your baby all along!

Yes it's cervix kicks. They start of like that and then get stronger from there. I find it a little uncomfy when she does it but luckily she's head down so I feel lighter punches now lol.

Thanks ladies I'm well pleased at these responses! Been waiting ages to feel a bit of movement :)

It's so exciting isn't it!? I have anterior placenta so didn't feel bubs until almost 20 weeks. The movements were low down at first :)

If I can feel more movement it will make the wait for my next scan more bearable lol.

Yes it's a daunting time when you don't have many symptoms and you can't feel baby yet. (My Doppler helped reassure me alot at the beginning) good luck at your scan :)

I didn't buy a doppler out of fear of not hearing anything. I'm still thinking about it though

I didn't get mine til around 15 weeks. As I knew I had my placenta in the front and was so scared I would only hear the whooshing of the placenta but heard baby's HB no problem. Only had one time where I couldn't find it but it was only because baby had moved from her usual place. Mine is just the Angelsounds one, I got it on a deal. It's cheaper than most but works just as well.

If you're starting to feel little pokes it may not be worth getting one, however I did use mine when baby had her 'quiet days' just for a bit of reassurance and she would soon start up kicking again :)
