Not sure if its just me, but I have devolved an aversion to kissing. I used to love a kiss from DH, but now I notice that whenever he does give me a kiss, even just the simple goodnight ones, I tend to push him away even though I try to hide it so not to offend him. I also hate watching people kiss in films, and I hate the noise it makes!

Haha! That is the first I am hearing apbout aversion to kissing, pregnancy does weird stuff to our bodies. If I were you I would be honest with DH and hopefully he understands it is not about him.

I'm pretty sure he doesn't notice to be honest, when I say I push back, I do it sort of internally, like a tension thing

This is me! Any time we are making love, and he goes to kiss me, Im like eww. I do it a few times, but it just makes me want to punch him! Im hating it right now.

TOTALLY. ive been so anti affectionate! Dh is very affectionate so we are not happy about this. Total aversion, I love this forum, im so glad im not alone! :p

lol It is strange what hormones do to us, it is good we can talk about all of this or we would think we were being weird or mean without reason

I've totally gone off kissing too. I've always assumed it's cos my sickness still isn't completely away.

I've had no libido since about 4 weeks because I've felt so crappy. I've had hyperemesis so we haven't had sex at all and barely kissed since we conceived this little one. My DH has the patience of a saint!

I kind of get you. What I hate is when OH will kiss my back or neck at the worst times. Like when I'm cooking dinner or trying to sleep. Its not a peck either, the kind that leaves slobber behind. It sends shivers down my spine (not the good shivers) and I get an overwhelming urge to punch him

Oh gosh me too! My poor dh, I just can't stand it at the moment! :haha: As with all these aversions I know it'll wear off but it really is an odd one, not one I've had in previous pregnancies

As bad as I hate to admit it, yes. There is only one time that I have REALLY wanted a kiss from him (make out session :haha: ) since finding out I was pregnant. I'm usually and EXTREMELY affectionate person but right now, sometimes being touched royally ticks me off.

ha ha - yes! makes me want to throw up.

I started taking this personally Calm, you could have just told me  pucker up

You do all right, its probably because I'm always snogging you that DH doesn't get his share

I have gone off kissing. I don't mind closed mouth pecks on the lips but even then, not too many. First I was sick and now I'm headachey and bunged up and neither make me enjoy kissing. My partner does feel a bit put out and keeps asking if I've gone off her, but it really is just the physical action of it. I wouldn't care but she's had a baby herself so you think she'd know the strange things that happen in pregnancy!

I'm not really into sex either - at first I was wary for the baby, now I'm past 12 weeks I feel safer doing it but I don't really feel like it. Would rather nap!
