Well, I was 3.5 weeks late when Af decided to show up, at least that is what I think it is. Started with brown spotting, then turned red on Wednesday, but not alot just spotting. Then, Thursday I had nothing. Then, Friday I had more red blood, but not like a normal period. Then, Saturday in the morning I had a huge clot it seemed( Sorry TMI), then nothing until Saturday night when I stood up and felt a gush and quite a bit of blood came. Then, Sunday nothing. Now, Monday and I am barely spotting brown. I am just baffled. I have never had this happen before. I have never had an AF like this. Any advice?? Thanks Ladies!

goodness, have you taken any pregnancy tests??

That definitely sounds bizarre...I'm sorry I have no words of advice. Hugs. I hope you figure it out soon.

That is quite the odd AF i would defo test if you can if comes up neg mabey its just a lite AF this cycle ?

I just took a cheap dollar tree test that I had, had 2 left, and I don't know what to make of it. I think it is just a messed up test. I thought I saw somewhat of a line, but then again I see pink in the middle too, like it bled... I am saying negative....

But you did see a second line? I would wait a couple of days and retest with something better, can you get any?

PS - a lot of tests will look streaky for the first few minutes, but it should go away as it starts to dry. :)

Grr... Went to the store and I decided to pick up some clear blue tests. I have never used them before, but it was pretty cheap for 3 tests. Well, I took it and of course there is a vertical line...but then I was reading how unreliable they are.. Had I known, I never would have gotten this kind. Just sooooo aggravated...

It seems like it would be too early for you to test anyhow... yeah the blue line are notorious for giving false positives!! I'd recommend First Response.

Hey hun,
You know, your AF sounds very similar to my last one where I started with just spotting, then bled red, then nothing for hours then heavy again, then nothing, etc. On one day I had a clot.. I was at the docs this week and they think I had a chemmical :( though I never tested positive, so who knows . Hope it's not the case for you hun :dust:

Thanks for the posts! Well, I know it might sound strange, but I am hoping it was a chemical or something not abnormal. I had a molar pregnancy like 2 years ago and I am petrified that something weird is going on. That was the most shocking thing I have had happen.
