stray cat bit my 5 year old, advice please

hi all , my 5 year old daughter was just bit by a stray cat, i have cleaned to bite and disinfected it, my question is, do you think it would need medical treatment ie: anti-biotics or tetnus, just worried as she is so young and i have never had to deal with this before

My son was bit by a pet rat a few weeks ago. I called NHS direct and they said to take him to A&E. I felt a bit silly because it was only a tiny bite... but they did give him a tetanus shot. Maybe call NHS direct and see what they say?

go to the hospital or to your docs asap,you never know if the cat had been carrying anything.
