strep b

Anyone had a home birth who has strep b? Can you take a prescription of antibiotics instead of having the injection? Is it silly of me to think that as I don't want to potentially create a bad situation,feeling mixed about it.

I don't want to r&r! I did a natural hospital birth and I had strep b. They gave me penicillin every 4 hours by IV. Whoever is assisting your birth should be able to tell you. I hope you get your answer!
