So, even before I got pregnant i have had stretchmarks on my hips. But I am only 19 weeks and 2 days and i'm getting them on my stomach, I have one noticeable one and then smaller ones that aren't that noticeable, is it normal to get them this early? I've had the big one for about a month, and the back of my legs look like they're ripping i have so many on the back of my knees. Is THAT normal? lol I have also tried Palmer's coco butter, which has done NOTHING. Is there anything else people have used that they would recommend? Or am i just destined to have these? haha

Sorry mama, but if you're going to get them you're going to get them. No amount of cream, oil, lotion, or anything else will stop them. Good thing is they tend to fade after baby! :D

gosh, if this is just the beginning, i hope i have some normal skin left. haha and btw your baby is beautiful <3

Aww thank you!! :hugs: My tummy, sides, boobs, thighs and calves are all full of strechmarks but she was worth it :winkwink:

Don't worry about it honestly they WILL fade. I got some on my tummy in my last four weeks and was sooo annoyed but I gave birth almost 3 days ago and they've already faded off my stomach and look silver but only when the light is on them otherwise they're barely noticeable! Keep on with the cocoa butter and stuff though it will help to some degree.

I was told drinking lots of water can prevet them, but im not sure if you've already got them?! The water helps to keep the elastin in your skin and helps it stretch xox

Id reccomend the Little me organics mum to be stretchmark oil
https://www.littlemebabyorganics.co.uk/mum-to-be.html
I used this from 16 weeks and my stretchmarks didnt get too bad
i then switched to re-gen oil and they started getting worse ! so i bought some more of the little me organics and so far they havn't got any worse!
Its quite expensive but it worth trying

** EDIT forgot to say you can get this from sainburys and i think boots sell it aswell
x

nope i havent qotten stretch marks hun =/

vitamin e oil! is the only thing I trust. its really cheap and you can find it in the vitamin aisles. it might make you have some pimples, but whats few temporary pimples to permanent stretch marks?
I had some uggo stretchies on my boobs and hips pre-pregnancy, now I'm starting to get them on my lower back?? which is really weird, but I'm using the vitamin e oil everywhere I think the stretch marks are or may pop up .. boobs, hips, tummy, lower back, and thighs.

As my midwife said.....if your going to get them.....you will. Its often a genetic thing. All the body butters and oils in the world cannot get down into the bottom layers of the skin tissue...which is where the deep stretching occurs. It may help with the light tiny stretchies....but all it will do to the big ones is make your skin feel soft and make you feel like your doing something! Generally any fading of the big ones would have happened if you used creams or not, I say save your money lol

Yep it's true if you're gonna get them nothing will prevent it.
But coco butter & bio oil etc will help reduce them once you have them.
I haven't got any apart from a couple small ones under my boobs, so luckily not noticable. But I did have some pre-pregnancy just under my bum, and they are unnoticable now, they have just faded to silveryish, but you can barely see them.
Try not to worry too much :)

I tried EVERYTHING, and I still started getting them at about 29 weeks or so, I'm not to sad about it, though as I get my baby out of all this, and they'll fade! haha.

I havent got any yet but i probabaly will but in time ive
heard they fade, they will all be worth it though! :) x
