Struggling with the fact I will never get answers :-(

On Tuesday I saw a healthy baby and a strong heartbeat despite spotting for 2 days...less than 24 hrs later I had passed the sac and bleeding had got heavy.

I cant help but blame myself, was I miscarrying even when the baby was still alive? Why did my body start to bleed when everything was fine and the baby hadn't died yet? Was the baby completely normal and healthy and even if it wasn't I didint think my body would have got rid of it THAT quick!

I know no one can answer these questions but I'm finding it so hard I feel like it was my body rejecting the pregnancy for some reason whether it be hormones or something else rather than the fact anything was wrong with the baby xx

They say most miscarriages are chromosomal abnormalities. If you think that Down's syndrome babies and other babies with serious issues survive, this must have been something very very severe.

In my two MMCs from early scans they said likely to be chromosomal issues. With the first one they never said a thing so I will never know.

Unless you have NK killer cells, clotting issues, your body wouldn't just reject a healthy pregnancy.

Have you had testing to try to get answers? I am having all sorts of tests now.

I'm waiting to see the gynae so hopefully it won't be too long, I think it's the fact I started bleeding 2 days prior to seeing a healthy baby with a heartbeat so my body was already starting to miscarry even though the baby was still alive so I just don't think that could still be chromosome abnormalities if the baby was still alive my body wouldn't realise it isn't vible would it? Maybe I'm overthinking it all, just thinking it could maybe be low progesterone breaking down my lining? Xx

You should definitely go and see a specialist but just because there was a heartbeat doesn't mean anything. I got to 10.4 weeks last time and the baby measured right and had a hb of over 170 but then a week later just stopped growing

I saw the heartbeat 4 times this time and thought all was good as was nearly 11 weeks, but sadly not
