stupid question ... what do AF cramps feel like?

Hey ladies .. This may sound like a silly question but I've only recently started having periods for the first time in about 3 years ...

I never really remember ever having pains or cramps before when af is here ...

I'm pretty sure she's starting today there's been a tiny bit of her here and there I'm just waiting for her to start fully

All day I've had terrible pains mainly on my left side and middle abdomen but they are fairly sharp twingy and pretty painful!

If you could share you AF pains that would be great

When I used to have endometriosis it was pretty bad. Felt like a bad muscle cramp. Like a tight muscle contraction.

I dont get them anymore, but mine felt like sharp stinging pains in my lower abdomen and I'd get them for several hours. They were so painful i took pain pills and cried myself to sleep until my mother told the doctor and he put me on birth control.

Now i only get a severe burning in the center of my lower back. Only relief is bending over halfway. Pain pills only work if i take them before pain starts, if i take them after they're useless.
