Hi ladies,

I am not in second trimester but thought it would be better if I'd ask here since you are all passed first trimester, the scary phase!

I went for my first scan yesterday at 7w5d and saw a beautiful HB at 150bpm and the embryo was measuring right on at 7w5d but the only thing that is a little scary is that the gestational sac measured about 6w2d.. as you can see in the picture, the embryo does not have that much room to move around. Although, there was better positions while doing the scan that seemed to have more room but I don't think it's the best picture!

The Dr said to not worry but ofcourse I worry!! I go back at 9 weeks so Thursday next week. Did anybody have a similar situation and ended up being fine? I don't want to know any negative stories, sorry:blush:, I need to stay positive!!

thank you so much in advance for your support!

And congrats to all you ladies who are now in the second trimester! :)

Yes! I did! At 8weeks the sac was unusually small and there was a slight dent which indicated an impending miscarriage to the tech. I had to go back after 2 weeks, the longest 2 weeks ever btw, and I refused to look at the screen until she could tell me all was ok. And it was! The shape had gone back to normal and everything measured fine at 10weeks!

<<< And shes now here!

Good luck, so far so good hun, fingers crossed for you

Here was the sac after the worry
