Hi!! My husband and I have been trying for 5 years now, but I have an irregular period. I show ovulation symptoms, so I can tell when I ovulate, but I've read that soy isoflavones help egg production. I see many success stories, but has anyone had success with an irregular period??

Hi Hun sorry no one replied yet to your first post :) I have no experience with soy yet but am considering giving it a go. Hopefully someone else is more helpful than me :)

I'm trying soy next cycle too.

Have you tried charting your temperature? That way you can confirm ovulation

Hey Laura no i am useless at temping. i mite try next month, started my soys tabs yesterday

One of my ttc buddies just got her BFP after first month of soy. Whether it was the soy that made the difference I don't know, but that's always promising!

I'm still waiting for af to show up so I can begin my first soy cycle

Oh wow that is very exciting! Was she trying long? I hope it makes a difference for me too! I nearly missed out on this cycle too because i had to go to a big town to get the soya. made it for CD5 though. I think next month if it doesnt work this month ill try taking them earlier

This was month four. So happy for her :-)

I got my soy from Tesco :-)

Aw thats great for her! do u mind me asking how much it was in tesco? 20 quid in holland and barett!

Hi there, from what i know about Soy, its only best to take when Ov is really really late or not at all. If its taken when u have regular cycles, it can actually make cycles worse.

I know someone who has 60day cycles, took Soy and it worked first try, but I also know someone else who has fairly regular cycles 34-40days and it made her cycles even longer. So it can be both good and bad.

What are your cycles like naturally? xxx

Wow theyre alot cheaper than H+B! :( oh well ill know for agian :) i have irregular cycles mostly and i havent been ovulating so im hoping this will help :) worth a try! What about u butterfly?

My cycles are 36 day but I ov on day 26... So hoping to bring ov forward a bit

Yeah theyre 30tab pots, so worth the 3for2 lol.
Should be ok then. Naturally with no meds, I have no cycles whatsoever but when i was on 100mg clomid, I ov'd between cd18-22, always have a LP of 14 so my cycles where 32-35 days long. Soy brought Ov even closer to cd14 on my first round and now on my second FF has detected ov on cd13! not sure how true my FF is this month tho xx

Sounds good hun! Hope I can move things forward a little.had a chemical last month

I took Soy for the first time this month...I'm having symptoms too, so I think I might get my bfp...I'll let you all know if I do.

I took soy first time this cycle days 3-7. I O'd a week earlier than I normally do in past cycles. I'm 2DPO and waiting to test. Will let you know when I test.

How are you getting on with the Soy, noticed any changes?
