We thank god our baby girl made it into this world safe and healthly
I went in on sunday 23 dec to be induced due to o.c i was 37+6 went in at 8 pm waited till 11.30 am to be induced which i found extremely uncomfortable as the hormone stick was inserted deep inside i was also given a sweep while the mw was up there anyway sat around walked about was told i was 1 cm so had a loong way to go contractions started continued until 7.30 pm pain had picked up the intense contractions kicked in was told given gas&air made no difference asked for a epi as tbe pain was becoming unbearable was told there was no one available to give epi because there is only one anestatist on duty and labour ward is really busy was put on monitor was told contractions are coming one after another without a break at this point was screaming with shear pain felt like a car on my mid part going over my body again and again omg i was screaming with for a hour and half all of a sudden doctors and nurses rushed in told me baby is in alot of distress and theh need to take blood from the babies head results will be back in under 2 mins they put a metal rod up me to the baby all i heard was my shear screams of pure agony my husband at tbis stage had gone white as a sheet no epi and g&a making me fe
el so sick results came back inconclusive tbey wanted to do it again and tbe doctor said keep calm your baby is in danger before they started this procedure i was only 4 cm enough for the metal rod and time was 9.05 they started to repeat the procedure babies heart rate dropped below dangerous level while they were doing the procedure for the second time they started preping for c section but all of a sudden the urge to push became strong i had gone from 4 cm to 10 cm within 6 minutes i was put on my back and told to push i pushed hard 5 or 6 times out flew my baby girl she was very distressed and still my husband hugged me hard thinking the worst than we heard the crying and omg
music to my ears the pain stopped imediatly SAVANNAH LILLIAN HONEY HINTON born weighing 6.9 ounce at 9.18 pm with no tears just a scratch i have to say i never in my life endured so much pain but my baby girl is beautiful and i would do this just for her again i believe the hospital let me down big time they made me go through pain which could have been controlled
i am totally in love with my babi girl but if things had gone wrong i would have blamed the hospital failed to moniter me correctly because they were short staffed all in all i gave birth within 10 minutes so very quick xxx

Sorry it was so trammatic and they didn't give you the epi.
I ended up with an EMCS and my LO was in intensive care for 3 weeks. Well done to u for getting through it
