Hello, I am new to the forum.
I have suffered from Hyperemesis since 8 weeks and am now 19 weeks - I have looked online and many people seem to be in and out of hospital.
Except, my doctor doesn't seem concerned. I have been to hospital once, and they changed me to a different anti sickness medicine (which doesn't help).
Most days I am too exhausted to get out of bed, and have to keep a bowl next to me. I have been having really painful headaches (on my forehead) that I can't get rid of, and I know this is most likely due to dehydration.
My Hyperemesis has improved considerably since I've been on anti sickness medicine (only sick 4/5 times a day rather than 10+) but I'm still too weak to do much.
I'm worried about my baby - I read that if I'm dehydrated then it can hurt the baby if there is not enough amniotic fluid - will they be able to tell at my next scan?
Anyone else in the same boat?
