sugar water

    ive heard from various mums including my own
    that sugar water help to get rid of wind
    and tummy pains

    i was just wondering as to how much
    sugar i should put into a bottle
    of say 120 ml?? or 4oz??

    lo got a really bad tummy atm
    and i dont want to put too much
    sugar into the water ...

    I have used a teaspoonful of brown sugar in 4oz water to help try to relieve constipation (advised by hv) as the other methods didn't work very well. It did help a bit but in the end Erin had to have medication to help her. xx

    As your little one is only 10 days old I would only put 1/2 teaspoon in 4ozs of cooled boiled water. xx

    i give archie sugar water every 2 days and i put 1/4 of a teaspoon in 4 oz

    I put 1/2 teaspoon in a 4oz bottle.

    It does really help with constipation and avoids hard stools.
