Super Confused

Well im on the contraceptive pill (cilest) and have been for over a year and always get my period on the thursday of my week break. However at the end of my last cycle, i decided to take a break from the pill for a few months and use condoms instead. It is now the thursday of my would be week break..and no period. Is it just my body maybe adjusting to not being on it, i havent got sore boobs or any pregnancy symptoms. Any idea when she might turn up?

It can take your body a while to adjust to not being on the pill - I was on cilest for years and when I came off it I think my first natural period was a few days late (although my cycles did get back to normal quite quickly after that). If your period still isn't here in a few days it might be worth taking a pregnancy test just to make sure, even if you have no symptoms x

we're trying for a baby so I came off the pill, while on the pill my periods were always 28 days & I knew I would always come on, on the friday or saturday morning, then when I came off the pill my first period was 32 days & my last period was 30 days so it will take a while for your periods to adjust x Like Sam's mum said, if your period still isnt here in a few days take a test x

Hey hun i took a break off my pill in November last year and didnt get a period until May this year....
I was on Cerezette and with that one u dont have a period at all and dnt have a break...
Anyways cos it fucks up your body it can take so long to correct itself, my doctor says it cant take around 6 months to sort out and they docs wont do anythin till 6 months have passed... x

Sounds like its just your body adjusting to everything.
Take a test in a few days if your period doesnt show

i went off the pill at the end of july 2008 so my OH and I could start TTC. I didnt get my first period until November 5th. 100+ days aftr I stopped the pill. Everyone is different. And I was not pregnant in between those times, because i am a POAS addict!! lol

Well i took a test yesterday and BFN so that was reassuring just hope it wasnt too early and it was accurate. Really hope period will turn up soon. X

Worrying can really delay your period, so try not to think about it

starting to relax now a bit because i took another test this morning and BFN so i think its just my body adjusting *fingers crossed* x

Probably just your body adjusting to not being on the pill.Don't stress yourself.

Really sorry to keep bothering all you guys. Still havent got my period but im not really worried because i have taken two tests both neg and im pretty sure that i took them late enough that they would show if i was. I guess im just being a worrier but should i take anymore or just pray my period arrives soon??? X
