You may be aware Superdrug have started a rewards points card like Boots...well they dont seem to have cottoned on to the fact they shouldnt be giving points for 1st formula (government rules no promotion of 1st milk blah blah blah) but twice I have bought Hipp Organic 1st Milk not only is it 70p cheaper in there than Tesco but I got reward points both times.

So stock up ladies grab some points while you can.

I have noticed that! I usually buy LOs milk there along with his baby wipes and jarred food! I didn't expect to get the points but I did :D

My superdrug doesnt sell LOs formula :(
Booooo!!!
Xx

I'm just wondering how long it'll take them to click, shame they only had 2 boxes of the formula I but. Not that I can carry much pushing a flipping twin pushchair around

booo my superdrug sells only baby wipes and nothing else baby BUT, iv joined parenting club at boots and i get 10 points per £1 even on baby milk number 1??? iv now gone onto hungrier milk so i cant double check this...am i wrong its just i look at points gained after every purchase and it seems to add up to full price iv paid meaning iv got them for the milk????

You shouldn't be getting points at Boots for formula milk as it clearly states they do not give points on that.

I may see if I can get ours at Superdrug to get the points - not sure they sell the one we have though

I'm sure they will click on eventually!

ok my mistake i thought i did, is that for all baby milks or just 1st milk x

You shouldnt be getting any points/promotion/discounts for ANY stage 1 or 2 milk in any shop. (Anything suitable from birth basically)
But stage 3 and beyond is fine, after all thats what they were created for, right?.
But if its the shops mistake then take advantage before the govenment hits them like a ton of bricks.

I've seen someone on another forum saying that they got points from Boots the other day too. I wonder if it's a glitch or if the government have made a change but haven't advertised the fact?!

Dont think anything has changed i bought q few cartons of first milk in tesco yesterday and no clubcard points

ok so now im confused coz i always assumed i got points for the milk in boots, iv just found a recent receipt....

C&G hungry baby milk £7.59p
baby wipes £2.59
carefree pads £1
=£10.19

ok so thats wat i bought and i received 10 points for each pound and it says on receipt i have earned 100 points  so if i earned 100 points then i must have gotten points for the milk right???

could it be that im registered with baby club thats why i got the points??

well im off for more milk today shall look at my points received again lol xx

I wonder if it could be hungry baby milk that you get points for then as I'm sure the other lady said that's what she bought

ok I've just gone to tesco.com and added aptamil 1st milk to my basket and it says I've got 16 clubcard points for what's in the basket.

I'm sure I didn't get points in Tesco for 1st milk.... I know it didn't count in a 'qualifying spend' the other week. I went to Superdrug for milk yesterday as it's cheapest there - and they'd sold out :dohh: So I picked it up in Asda as I figured you don't get points anywhere else. Might have to see what happens in Boots and Tesco for the points....

Just looked on Boots.com and it says 0 points for stage 1 and 2 milk...

Last time I bought it online from tesco it had an icon saying no points available, it doesn't now. I might try to buy some from the shop and see what happens, I need some more anyway.

My baby is on cow and gate first milk and I didnt get boots points when I bought formula from there the other week and I`m in the boots parenting club

I bought some cow and gate stage 1 in Superdrug today but unfortunately no points :-( The lady at the checkout said they cant give points on baby milk.

The whole points thing is a bit dodgy anyway, Your not allowed to 'promote' first stage formula but it does not say specifically in the law no reward points, it's an interpretation thing. Most shops don't give points to avoid getting in trouble and I expect someone will complain and Superdrug will stop soon if they are giving points. Depends how you define reward and promote really.
