Superhuman

I am sure babies are superhuman.
Rio has been very poorly and sadly has passed on his germs to me now.
I have conjunctivitis, I feel like I have razor blades in my throat, I am deaf in one ear and have really bad pain in it, I have sneezed 20,000 times today, my eyes are watering, my nose is raw from being rubbed as it's running every minute. I have literally no energy.

This is obviously how Rio has been feeling for so long, and taking it into consideration he's coped so well! He has cried a bit, and made random 'hmmm' moaning sounds a fair bit, slept LOADS but coped so well. I am an adult and feel so shitty that I could cry myself.

I have come to the decision that babies are superhuman. They go through so much and just take it in their stride (most of the time!)

No huge point to this, just felt like a bit of praise was due!

They are quite amazing, aren't they? Mums are superhuman too though. I think anyone who has carried and birthed a child should feel proud of themselves every day - I'm still quietly basking in the glory of my achievement!

I def agree! Theyre such troopers! Can you imagine the growing pains....not to mention teeth piercing there way thru tender gums.....ouch!
