I've had over supply forever so this is so frustrating. DD is 6 mo and night weaned (her choice, long story) and now my supply feels like it went way down. She's not acting hungry and gets 5-6 good feedings a day with one meal of solids but I can't help but worry she's not getting enough nourishment. I can barely pump anything between feeds now and I'm worried that she's not getting enough! I've heard contradicting things about whether what you pump is a good indicator of what the baby is getting. Help! I feel like I'm starving her :(

If she wasn't getting enough, she'd start night feeding again, or demand more in the day. A child that young will eat what she needs to. Do you have any reason to think she would not act hungry despite being hungry?Unless you need to pump to build a stash I wouldn't worry about how much you pump.

If she was on three meals a day and had cut down her milk because of that at 6mo I would probably suggest cutting down some of the food for a while, but one meal shouldn't be making too much difference.

I think everything sounds fine.

My other worry is that she hasn't had a BM in about a week when she is usually an every day or every other day kinda girl. She sleeps 7pm-6:30 straight through so you're right, she's not hungry at night. I would love to work on my freezer stash but luckily due to my previous oversupply I am okay there.
