Supportive Husbands/partners?

Ok, who has a supportive OH? if they are what do they do to support you?

Who's Oh is just as excited as them? any more excited?

who's OH is completly useless?

Mines gone from not really being into the whole excitment of trying to get pregnant to now being comvinced that we have done it in our first cycle, lol, whereas before he kept saying well you wont get pregnant first time proably take at least 6 months lol! how disappointed will he be when i get a BFN ... awww.

we had a row yesterday and i got really upset and he kept saying that if you keep getting yourself into that state you will kill the baby! what baby! lol, only 3 days past ovulation. and as you can imagine that comment didnt help calm me down at all lol!

its really nice now though, he talks to my belly and have "private" man-to-man talks with the spermies lol! and he is being really supportive.

so what sort of thing does your OH say or do?

Mine makes sure i do headstands!! lol!! I think he is just as excited as i am..if not bit more at times..he brings back lil thing hes found..talks to my tummy...rubs my belly...texts me in the dayy just to see how i am....is sweet and cries with me when we get ...hes a star..but he is still a man....lol...hes a good bloke!! xxxxxxxxx

My OH is supportive, think he tries not to show me how excited he is, cause after 9mths ttc we've had a few disappointments but every now and agin he'll say somthing that makes me realise how much he wants a baby.

I had to beg my OH for this baby but after 15 months of trying he was more excited than me when i got a and he told everyone at work and has already booked his time off lol (if the baby comes on time) Now if im feeling tired or just plain cant be bothered he says "Your only pregnant" lol so he started off well bless him x x

When i had my Ectopic i realised just how much my OH wants another baby, we have 2 boys already both at full time school, however this baby or at least the one we are TTC will be our last, so its really special to all of us.

The day i came out of hospital my OH was devestated as was all the family

Im going to keep the ( when & if i get it) a secret and do something special to tell him...

I cried to my OH last week about not being pregnant yet, and he was soooooooooooo good he said it will happen and stop stressing etc as it wont help..

I try not to say to much to OH about how bad i am feeling about not having gotten pregnant yet as i know its only been 5 cycles of trying and i know sometimes i panic and jump the gun thinking things are wrong instead of letting nature take its course..

He says things like, oh i cant wait to do a nursery etc and how a good mum i am going to be and how are baby will be loved so much! Makes me upset tho as i havent even ever ever got a BFP and i am sooooooooo waiting every month for it i soooooo want it more than anything his face would light up he would be over the moon with happiness..

My DH is desperate for a baby. Every month he gets upset when AF arrives. It was him who was nagging me about having a LO to begin with, and I was putting it on hold for a while. It made me smile the other day when we drove past our local playing field where there were some kids playing football and he siad I can't wait to come and see my children doing things like this.

awwww i bet its so hard for both of you, i cant imagine how hard it is trying for that long, like i said this is my first month and mines got himself convinced that i will be pregnant! bless him, i know he will be so gutted.

lol, bless him thats such a typical male thing to say, i can imagine mine saying that same thing lol! congrats, hope you have an enjoyable rest of your pregnancy and a good birth, lots of luck.

I am sure he will be really excited when he or she is born. i guess men are like children the idea when you get your BFP is all exciting but because preg last 9 months they lose attention, lol, bless him! he sounds great!

awwww bless him, i bet its really hard for him seeing you suffering too and not being able to help. thats a nice idea about when you get your ... i hoep you get it soon. you will have to tell us all what you did x x x

oh honey, he sounds amazing, all our men sounds so amazing dont they?

Its so good when you have a man so supportive as that and really getting excited about things like the nursery etc. i am sorry to hear you havent got your yet. but it does sound like he or she will be so lucky when they do appear.

oh wow! thats so amazing, bless him, so sorry to hear how upset he gets every month, i think mine will be deveastaed too!

we look after our neice and nephew quite alot and he keep saying i want one if these, awwww... its so cute.

i cant believe there are so many great daddy to bes out there, arnet we so lucky to have found such wonderful men, some men are completly hopeless and not supportive at all. we have all chosen well

My OH is awesome. He was gutted when I got AF last month and now he's convinced we've done it this month. He's been reading all about it and stuff so he's really into it. I know he'll be an amazing Dad coz he already s to my daughter from my previous relationship. He says he sees her as his own and it shows, they love each other to bits.

Sometimes I have a bit of trouble getting him to put out LOL!! That's just coz he's lazy though. He was good this month.

Mine is pretty supportive also. He has def been my rock so far even though I have to admit some of the advice I hate hearing but knowing its true. He went thru my reversal surgery with me and took complete care of everything til I fully healed and wouldnt let me lift a finger. He has so much patience with me and the emotions and has even been looking at baby things with me. I love my hubby so much!!!

my dh doesnt really say much... he is so laid back any futher back he be vertical :rotf:
for him its a case of if it happens it happens! although he has been asking me every morning if i done a test think he starting to worry about me at long last lol
