Sure it's just a fluke, but so proud anyway!

For about the past 2 weeks we have been sitting LO on his potty while we get ready for his bath so that he starts getting used to it and it doesn't come as a total shock when potty training begins. Tonight, he did a poo in it! First time he's ever done anything! :cloud9:

Just realised I am excited about poo - the joys of being a mummy! Anyone else would think I'm nuts! :haha:

Aww yay that's great! :-D well done to your LO!

Haha I know exactly what you mean about being excited about poo! I was the same today as my LO has been constipated and I felt so happy and excited when she did a poo today haha!

That's exciting!!! I think it's a great idea to get them used to the potty from a young age! Good work :) I hope you cheered like crazy for him!

Wow! My daughter is 21 months and we have not had anything in the potty yet! Well done :happydance:

Yay! Well done to your LO!!

(it may not be a fluke.... I haven't had to change a dirty nappy for a month now :winkwink:) x

That is a WONDERFUL idea! Never would have thought of it! Congrats to your LO! :flower:

I confess it wasn't my idea, there was a lady on here with a similar story when my LO was just a few days old.

Had another tonight, and a little wee!!! :happydance: Could this be the start of something??

I've said it often on here that my 2nd,3rd and 4th children were a doddle to train because they already knew and recognised the potty so to speak. They were all dry day and night before their 2nd birthdays. I bought a potty for Atticus from really early on, a few weeks or so and every night before his bath he sits on it and has a story. He always wees now. He often wees in the bath too but that beside the point lol.
Well done to your lo, its all good stuff. xx

That's brilliant! Hope my LO follows suit, nappies are expensive so the sooner he stops needing them the better! :haha:
