for some reason i'm convinced i'm having twins

just had a thought...
do you get £500 per baby or just per pregnancy from the surestart?

i know i shouldn't be worrying about it when i have no confirmation, just intuition! just wondered!

Not sure about the surestart but you only get the Health in pregnancy grant once even if you're having 8!

£500 for each baby according to the website - DirectGov. But obviously you need to know you are having twins and your MW will sign the back stating that no doubt.

Yeah, you get £500 for each baby expected.. it's a bit early to be wondering about that though isn't it?

i know but that's me for you! just wondering. esp as there was something on tv the other day about parents of multiple births get done financially in this country. i.e. when you get child benefit you get less for the 2nd baby.

calais, its a non-repayable grant you get in the UK if you are on a low income and are expecting a baby or are adopting. its £500.
