Surprised! - Girls a Q for you about EWCM

Hi Girls, well as you can see I'm on CD11. Yesterday, for most of the afternoon and the evening I had a lot of CM. I don't usually get that, so I went ahead and did the finger test where you squish it between two fingers and it was stretchy and globby like EWCM. I had to work last night (typical!) so as soon as I got home I woke up DH and we BD. But is that right? Should I be getting EWCM so early?

Someone explain exactly what it looks like to me incase I'm wrong . I just never get it, so I'm not sure. It stretched about half a finger length inbetween my fingers - it was clear....and it was clumpy, like thick but not thick...argh, makes no sense right? lol - well it's no clearer to me either

Also - how early before O does the EWCM usually show up?

Lol nope, doesn't hurt at all - just curious as to why it's here so early...I will do an OPK this afternoon but wary as I only finished Clomid two days ago....So worried about a false +

don't think it's to early...happen to me to ovulate on cd 10 or 11 before ...how long you af lasted?

Well it usually lasts around 31-33 days. So this is very early for me, usually when I do O it is around cd16. Perhaps this cycle will be different. I don't care, as long as the sperm are heading for the egg i guess!! lol

When do you normally ovulate?

I had some EWCM but not as much as i normally get and it's definitely way too early for my as i'm only CD9.

I normally get EWCM for about 4 or 5 days - as soon as i have ovulated it goes creamy?? Not sure if that helps or not?xx

Hey Ney Ney, sounds like it could be! I suppose if you never get anything than this could be the closest. I always thought as soon as you get CM you should go for it ASAP, don't waste a second! Good luck, hun!

Hey NN -the way I see it, is it's better to be safe than sorry - don't miss a chance Hun. The moment I get EWCM (which is v stretch, and sort of clear, but stretches between thumb and forefinger for about an inch) it is time to BD!!!!
I too have 31 day cycles, and normally get EWCM about CD 11-12 every month, so you may just be ov early.

We did BD just in case, although I did get a very clear negative on the OPK for that day, and the two days after. Hmm..

I'm cd14 now so hopefully my OPK will darken soon....
I missed yesterday due to my 30th b'day so I will test today after lunch.

So funny as i was going to ask the same question... Got a thick clump of sticke snotty spot in underwear on saturday and according to progesterone tabs it should be CD12 pills, but actually im on like CD100 and something but as well first time my CM did that so bding for me too that sat eve and last night... and since i have lost weight it seems like im getting more CM too....

Good luck neyney if shows this cycle i already have my 150mg Clomid in my dresser... so holding thumbs for both of us
