Sweaty palms!

I'm 39w6d today. I was told back around 36 weeks that I probably wouldn't make it to 37 weeks, but here I am, still very much pregnant! I started sloooowly shedding tiny amounts of mucus plug (I think!) over the weekend, and had about 7 hours of prodromal labor Sunday night through Monday morning, which tapered off. I have been terribly nauseous ever since, as well as very sore and crampy. As of Tuesday, I was 80% effaced, with baby engaged and so far down that he has my cervix wrapped behind and around his head (I can't even visualize it, but that's what my midwife said). The monitor showed I was having regular "silent" contractions, as well.

I still feel like crap, but the latest development is that I'm really sweaty, mostly my hands (even though it is cold and wintery here). Anyone else have that issue, especially prior to labor?
