who else is having one?? i'm very excited about this!! so far i have bought all the jars and vases i need to put the sweets in and i've also got striped sweet bags to match our theme (purple).. i have bought ribbon to put around the containers with little "eat me" labels to put on them! I am also going to make little lollipop trees! can't wait!!!

I had one at my wedding it was fab, the kids decided to charge people for a bag of sweet and the proceeds go to the charity that helped us when our son died they made £300 it was brilliant ! X

so far i have 6x jars lol
iv been makro and wrote down & priced up all sweeties we want. i want some more jars/bowls and need me bags.. might order then now haha

We're having one but the venue are sorting it out. It wasn't included in our package but I made a special request for it to be included at no extra cost and they said yes! They have loads of different shaped clear vases set up on a round table and lots of old school sweets, they had it up at a wedding fayre they had and I got me and the kids about 4 bags full, naughty naughty!

i just went to ikea n bought 95p pasta jars they were brilliant for what they were used for and spent 100 on sweets in mackro x

well we aren't having the evening buffet cus we dont wana pay for both that and the 3 course, i just like the idea of the sweet buffet tbh think it will be nice for the kiddies... and the big kids

were having a 3 course meal, then a buffet for evening and there also doing a kids buffet with sausage rolls ect lol
then a sweetie buffet, our cupcakes for our cake and im putting cakepops on the tables too

awww all your buffets sound lush we have a whole sale card were you can buy ready made buffets like trays of sandwiches cooked meat hampers and everything so we are just speding £300 on stuff its even allready garnished on serving trays so we can just lay that out we are palnning on about 150 guests.

i would like to just buy sandwiches and nothing else so i can buy sweeties lol but dont think the guests would be happy haha oh well i wish i never saw this thread now lol
