Swelling after section

I had my section 8 days ago, and am still ridiculously swollen. My feet, lower leg and upper legs are gigantic! My GP has prescribed frusomide, which I've been taking for 3 days but to little effect. When should my legs be back to normal and not look like a donner kebab?

Congrats on your little one!
It took about 2 - 2.5 weeks for the swelling to go away completely for me; I had elephant feet . Make sure that you're drinking plenty of water.

Ugh I was so swollen after mine too!! I kept complaining to the drs and they all kept saying it was normal. Water and keeping feet up is all they said. Took over two weeks for me...
