This may be a silly question, but I have looked it up and can't seem to find any information. Is it okay to go swimming after sex while TTC? We BD and then went swimming about 2 hours later. Is that enough time? I feel so frustrated I didn't ask BEFORE :dohh: we went swimming, but I just didn't think of it. Does anybody know anything about how long to wait to swim or if it is even a good idea to swim??

Good question, I'd like to know the answer too! lol... I'm always in the pool :/

I don't think it would be that big of a deal... I would think the sperm would have plenty of time to start swimming upwards where the water isn't really going anyhow.

That is a great question one I would like to know the answer too also....

water in the pool certainly isnt going into your cervix. likely is barely entering your vagina if at all. whatever sperm are gonna make it into the uterus are already there and hopefully heading down the tubes.

Hi ladies, I swam every day including while ovulating while ttc, and I got a bfp. Only thing I did do was wait at least a few hours after dtd before jumping in the water :)
