Swimming

Hi ladies took Alfie swimming for the first time today and he LOVED it he was so cute and just kept laughing and kicking. I was wondering for those who took their LO's swimming did you put them fully under the water??? I was told by one of the instructors to try it today but i was too scared incase he didn't like it?! Do they not swallow water?

so glad he liked it we love our swimming yep we put maddi under - the submersion is fab! she loves it and before 6months they have a reflex from the womb that prevents them swallowing too much water x

Hiya, aw sounds like you had fun! Can't wait to take Millie swimming. What did you use as a floatation aid? I was looking in mothercare today and they didn't seem to have anything for young babies.

I didn't use one hun just held him cos only took him in for 10-15 mins til he gets used to it. He can't hold his head up fully yet so thought best just to hold him

We dont put LO under the water - just couldnt do it.
Were off swimming in the morning!!
