I've decided against a moses basket as they seem rather expensive in comparison to a crib once you have paid for the basket...stand and mattress..I don't have stairs so will be easy enough for me to move a crib between rooms.

I've seen some people say a swinging crib too unstable for a LO and a fixed crib is better?!?

What is everyone elses opinion/experience. First time mum here!!

I was advised by mw with dd not to use swing feature at bedtimes as lo will get used to it and will the need rocking as gets older.

ps i had wooden crib. personal choice but lo was in it til around 5 months so lasted longer and lo had more space.

Thanks....that is a very good point!!

The crib is a must, all I see is people saying their bubbas have out grown their moses baskets!!!

I think I will stick with a fixed one!

I am getting my little one a swing, a bassinet, a bouncy vibrating chair and a swing. The bassinet to go in our room for the first few months until the baby moves to his/her own room, the crib for the nursery, the swing for the nursery or living room, and the bouncy vibrating chair to move back and forth between the rooms . :) Probally no stairs in the new house we are getting (we are moving to Korea, and will most likely live in an appartment.)

Awwww yer I have a separate swing and play mat.

Is more whether to get the crib swinging or not?!? And what peoples experiences are x x
