We use Enfamil A+ in liquid concentrate. We want to use Enfamil Gentlease in powder. Do we need to change over gradually?

We switched cold turkey last night and LO was up screaming for about 4 hours! Inconsolable!

LO is not even 5 weeks yet, so he has done those screaming episodes recently (although it has been almost a week), so I'm not sure if this is a coincidence or not.

I think the formulas need to be switched gradually even though they are both Enfamil as he has a sensitive tummy, OH says no.

Experience?

I have switched from several Similiac formulas and they say you do not need to mix them you can just switch. My LO screams constantly so I would not notice a change anyway haha! Perhaps check the formulas website and see what they say?
