Switching formula

I am combi feeding at mo due to latching/milk supply problems and am supplementing with Cow & Gate Stage 1. I have read Aptamil is best for combo feeding and wondering if I should switch yet it says not to unless on the advice of HV etc. Anyone have any advice?

changing from one brand to another is totally fine - you dont need the hv's permission to do this and its just like buying tesco milk instaed of asda. if you were changing from stage 1 to something else then i would say yes see the hv, but just stage 1 to stage 1 makes no difference
but............if lo is ok with the cow & gate i wouldnt bother to change tbh x
