swollen lymph node down below - waiting to ovulate

Hi ladies

As the title suggests I have a swollen lymph node down below on the right side and its been there for 3 days, about the size of a pea and quite tender. I've read that this can sometimes happen during ovulation and often signals which ovary will release egg.

This has happened to me before, intermittently and can switch sides. I was quite worried and wondering if anyone else gets this? It isn't on fertility friend as a specific sign.

Any thoughts?

Oh, I see! It's not TMI, don't worry.

I've had that before, too, and I have no idea if it was related to ovulation or not. It went away after a few days. Now I wish I would've paid attention to whether or not it was related to my cycle.

Is the bump red, painful to the touch, or hot? If so, then I would suggest seeking a doctor's care, because it could indicate an infection of some sort. But, if it goes away, then maybe it's just normal for you...?

It's not an external bump, but under skin and just tender when touched. The only reason I picked up on it is cos I was reading about mittelschmerz symptoms on wiki (the answers to all life's questions!). Have experienced some right sided twitches and came across swelling of lymph nodes in groin area. The bump is getting softer now and if fertility friend is correct, I ovulated on cd 10 which is my earliest and I've had this bump since the same day. I'm currently on cd 13 or 3dpo.... Not sure if this is right.
