Anyone watch this last night?! I feel sick watching it

I was going to watch it but afraid it was going to be horrible, the Syrian regime are really evil-especially towards mainstream Muslims (the ruling party and class in Syria are Alawis who are a sect that have completely different beliefs and practices in many respects to both sunni and shia Muslims). Even people from the UK innocently going to study Arabic there have been arrested and tortured xx

Surely if uk people know it's happenin you wouldn't go over there? I wouldn't even if you paid me!

This was in the past when it wasn't well known that would happen-not recently. The UK government (the old labour government) would cover up these cases in order not to offend the Syrian regime; so people who went there were unaware of the risks and the foreign office didn't warn against it in their info either xx
