Taking Reactine while TTC

Hi,

So I have had an unknown health issue for over a year now (the doctors can't figure it out). It includes swelling of my hands and feet that hurt, hives, and possibly tummy issues. Anyways, Reactine seems to get rid of the symptoms for the most part.

My hubby and I have been waiting to TTC for awhile now and finally decided to even though I don't know what's going on, the doctor doesn't seem too worried about it though.

I just want to know if anyone else has TTC while taking Reactine. I am wondering if it makes it harder to conceive and if it is safe for the baby.

I am curious about this too. I heard anti-histamines aren't great to take while TTC...I also take Reactine every day but not for anything as severe as what you're dealing with!

I mentioned this to a friend and she said that she thought she was pregnant one month, and she takes reactine everyday, so she called some mother's health line and they said that reactine was fine to take when pregnant.

I do not know if this is true, but it is encouraging. I am going to make an appt. with my doctor soon and ask her what she thinks. I will keep you updated!!

In the meantime I have lowered my dose to about 5mg. My friends dose was 20mg, so I don't think I need to be super worried.
