I know this isn't really special needs but it'd be nice to talk to other mums about this.
My son was born with talipes. We found out at his 20 week scan so we were prepared and had had appts with orthopaedics to find out about treatments etc. Everything was going pretty well with his ponsetti treatment but now his right foot keeps slipping out of casts so in all likelyhood treatment will stop til he's older. I'm so sad for him. I don't want him to have to go through operation after operation. I did and i missed out on a lot.
It would be nice to hear from some mums who have some positive stories instead of all the negative that i've heard. No one seems to want to say how well things have gone as if it's a bad thing whereas i'd rather hear the good at the moment than the bad.
