I am not just starting to get over the flu. I don't know if I maybe shouldn't have taken tamiflu but I researched it and my aunt (a nurse) said that if I didn't take it I would have ended up in the emergency room. I'm not freaking out or anything but have any of you taken tamiflu? What were you're experiences? I haven't finished the doses I've taken 3. I seen that most women who have taken it and their babies were fine.

I also want to add I decided to take it because I figured with me having the flu the longer it was in my system the longer it would be exposed to the baby and I figured that might be bad as well.

You should have spoken to a doctor or midwife first, you shouldn't take anything in pregnancy that could pose a risk, without a health professionally etc saying yes first. Luckily it is relatively safe to use in pregnancy. But when I had to take things in pregnancy I always asked the pharmacist, as a lot of medications can cause high blood pressure etc, just be careful next time, hope it clears up, also make sure to get your flu jab when you're better! (if you want of course lol)

personally, i wouldnt have taken anything without having it perscribed by the doctor.. theres so much they tell you not to take during pregnancy...
Hope you get better though :)

It was prescribed guys:thumbup: I just was just wondering about everyone else's experiences even after I was prescribed it i wasn't sure if I wanted to take it. But thanks you guys!:flower:

She is a nurse at a different doctors office and advised me to go to the doctor and get the tamiflu because I would get really sick if I didn't so no she didn't give it to me just told me I needed to go to the doctor and get some:flower:
