Tampon Test, 6dpo-12dpo for CM and Implanation

As I said before, I'm terrified of TSS... So, I don't ever use tampons. I'm sure if the doc says its fine, then it is. But, I'm still way too neurotic to even think of trying! I don't know if I've EVER used one. Maybe once when I was much younger!

Just wear white knickers and check when you wipe! lol Certainly would not advise tampons if not on af. Even if you don't get toxic shock syndrome, you could get other nasty infections. Infection of these parts is the last thing you need when pregnant! Good luck

I just had a question?

Do you thinks it safe/ok to check if there is a still CM or implantation spotting after ovulation with a Tampon ....?

I read online somewhere awhile back, if you still have CM around 6-12 day post O. you might be pregnant, and if you have implantation spotting in that time frame you might be pregnant...So it goes on to say that a good way to check is buy inserting (and pull right out) a light tampon in the morning (on days 6-12) to increases the chances of seeing CM(quantity)and Implantation...

So i tried it this cycle as i notice i was still having CM 5 dpo (it has decreased but definitely still around.)(CM never left with Previous pregnancies for me)
My results:
6 dpo CM
7 dpo CM w/ light pink
8 dpo CM w/ brown and light pink tinge
9 dpo CM spotting gone
(I will Stop testing since results were achieved.)

Is this Implantation Spotting?
( When wiping it was always clear, and had i not inserted a tampon i would had never seen the spotting)

I am on CD 25, 9 dpo, i guess 2 days post Implant. Spot.if thats what it was (5 days post Impant. is suppose to be able to give a BFP if conception occurred)
Fxd 3 more days before i can test



I want to know if anyone thinks this is safe, or has tried this, or might try it and wants to post their own findings...

when it comes to the cm.... i have been tracking what my body does for over a year now and i have usually always had cm in my dpo. the odd month i will feel dryer down there. some months i get quite a bit..other months i just have average. some months its more yellow, some months its more white, sometimes its creamy mixed with ewcm, and some months its more watery. I have been pregnant 4 times and what i have noticed is at the end of those months when i was to start af...i had alot more cm!

the spotting..yes it can be a sign IF it is something you dont experience unless you were on af. I had IB in my last pregnancy and only had it the one time i whipped so i knew i was pregnant cause bleeding is something that i dont experience unless im on af.

I would think a sterile tampon would be cleaner then washed hands Cause ou touch everything after you wash them you got to open the tampon package mabey close or open the bathroom door and the list goes on

tmi Alert-i sometimes have a ridiculous amount of cm, & while i was wtt, i would use a tampom, insert and remove after a few secs, it really helped and kept me from needing liners. but now im ttc so i vote for it all to stay help lil spermies swim! my 2 cents

Ive never tried this but i would think it would not be safe to be wearing a tampon when you arent bleeding cause of the risk of toxic shock syndrome

I agree, along with how rough tampons can be in the vagina especially if you not on your AF

my thoughts exactly. Plus there is the risk that the friction of the tampon being inserted when AF isnt around to "moisturise" might cause slight bleeding which would make the results worthless anyway.

I know why we are all sooo desperate to symptom spot etc but I dont understand why we go to such lenghs! At the end of the day the earlier you find out the longer the wait til due date..... just sit back and relax and see if AF shows!
