Tampons... When???!!!!

So when can we use them? Can I use them on my first period?

When did you ladies start?

I tried one last week, it was really uncomfortable, had to take it back out I feel horrible wearing pads too

I asked the dr about it at my 6 week check and she said it was fine to use them then as long as they're comfortable.

I had a c-section (dilated only 1cm) with my first, and my OB said I could use tampons for the lochia. I did so, and even went swimming 1 kilometer 3 weeks after I gave birth! 2nd time around, I think I used pads. I would ask at your 6 week check-up tho.

I was so scared of tampons before.. But let me tell you it feels so much better than a pad!!!! Especially when it's 35 degrees and very sticky on a summer day.

Yep, I totally agree with missjess - there is nothing worse than wearing a pad, it makes me feel all clamy and uncomfortable!

If it's inserted right, you shouldn't even feel it. This is the first time in my life that I have ever used a pad.

I wouldn't recommend them. They are pretty disgusting! I used them once and they make the biggest mess!!
