taste blood but no bleeding in mouth huh?

so bit of a weird one but i keep having moments where i can taste blood in my mouth like was having a tooth bleed :S well i wasnt and its really odd never had that before might not be linked to pregnancy but anyone have any ideas why i could be tasting blood but not be bleeding?!

i have perfect teeth and health so i have no idea! it started yesterday

when i taste blood its a bit like metal taste,maybe thats what it is,ur tasting, metal,thinking its blood,which is a gd sign in my eyes hun,

its weird the more i sucked the more i could taste it which is why i thought i really was having a bleed but i wasnt.. how odd!!

That sounds like the mettallic taste that is an early pregnancy sign. I had that with both mine! Kept thinking I had bit my tongue or something. Fingers crossed its a good sign for you! xxx

I was thinking metallic taste, too. When it cut my lip, it usually tastes what I think a metallic taste would be like. Good luck.

Ohhh good luck to you!!!! I had that today and looked it up! It is an early preg sign I thought it was werid as it was like blood to me and I never ever thought of that as a preg sign - so know I wasn't imagining it. My mouth has had a werid taste in general and then today the blood taste, I haven't had bleeding gums.
