Hi girls.
I have really been contemplating getting some type of remberance thing for my angel. We MCed at 8+3 back in October and although that was a while ago and although we have a sweet baby due this Monday, i still feel so attached to that baby as well and i was thinking of getting a tattoo. Does anyone have any photos or ideas for that? Or even where to place it on the body. Just for a background on me, I am a Christian so any type of faith inspiring items would be okay too. Thanks! :flower:

Hello sorry for your loss, Iv been planning on having a little heart on my wrist for my fallen angel (dec 09). Something dainty and pretty. x

Thanks ladies.

I am thinking of this although i do like the angel wings idea :D

I was thinking maybe of writing Psalm 139 somewhere in/around it.

I'm digging the idea of the foot prints with the angel wings on the side!!!!

sorry to hear of your loss :'(

i drew my own tattoo and had it done of a love heart with ribbons on my wrist for my baby i lost...since then i have lost another and plan on getting a second tattoo, my partner had the date and time we lost the first baby as i had to have a medical assisted miscarriage.

if your religious the thought of doves, wings, a cross or a baby angel sitting on a cloud might appeal to you (id suggest having it done where you feel would be best for you but the only thing i would say if you have an angel done have it on your shoulder and def not your back as angels watch over us, we dont carry them)

I had a baby in March who after 17 days we had to take off life support. In an attempt to calm us and him, we listened to music while we were waiting for the inevitable. I have lyrics from that song tattooed on my ribs sort of under my heart.

So sorry for your loss hun, and congrats on your pregnancy! I LOVE that pic you posted, it's gorgeous.

I have been thinking of getting Psalm 34:18 for mine.

I had a tribal heart on my wrist to remember my 2 angels xx

hi Guppy

Me and the OH had these done. they are on oposite wrists. as we always hold hands the same side of each other. so when we link hands our angels touch.

How about a babys footprint with "little angel" written underneath? It'd be dainty and very apt for the situation.

I'm also very sorry to hear about your loss. xx

i have four tattoos 3 of which are for my angels, i have tiny wings on my back and was going to get my angels names under it but didn;t want a huge list of names so thought the wings would suit them all, after that i lost two more babies so got a heart over my heart with DJ (dylyn jacqueline) baby we lost and also for my partner who is Daniel Jack. then got a R on my left wrist for angel Rayne which we lost, considering getting one for angel Casey who passed away in feb 2010 but not been able to bring myself to get inked yet. plus TTC and don't want to get one incase i ever get pregnant etc, all my tattoo's are in places which are unlikely to strech and become disfigured etc.

Im really sorry for your loss. I miscarried in January this year when I was 7 weeks and 2 days. It was our 1st and I was devastated. I would have been due tomorrow actually. I decided to get a tattoo to remember my baby too. I got 3 large Monarch butterflies going up my back right side. The smallest one in the middle represents my baby and that he or she will not be forgotten and the other 2 represent me and my husband so altogether it represents us as a family.

(its on the left side in the pic as it was a mirror picture)

My tattoo (it looks a bit dry as the pic was taken a day or 2 after it was done):

This was what my idea was to remember my baby. What about some baby footprints, maybe 8 as seen as you were 8 weeks when you lost the baby? Or what about a quote that means a lot to you to remember?

Im sorry again for your loss :hugs:
