Tattoo opinion :-) New entries!!

Hi girls! I have finally found the courage to have a tattoo done. The idea is this: I want a tattoo that is about me and my family. It will be a Jasmine flower (my name is Japanese means jasmine fragrance) and two sweat peas (my childrens' birth flowers). I'm considering adding some vines if possible as we had vines at our wedding and it will remind me of when our family started...

I'm attaching some pics of designs I had done to get some opinions!

I like the 125555 one it's beautiful and would look wonderful inked. May I ask where you are getting it? I'd definitely go for the first if it's on a more level area but if it's your ankle a more defined dark one would probably look better

Thanks so much girls! First and last are my favourites too though last looks a bit more unique to me despite the fact that is seems so simple. I was going to have it done on the back of my ribs below bra line. But I'm still thinking about it... Will add some pictures of the ones with vines as well!

Thats my favourite too!! Will definitely post a pic just need to decide where I'm having it done! OH doesn't agree with the back of the ribs due to its shape and I'm thinking I'd like it to be somewhere I can see it.... I'm thinking on my front really low - it would be visible in a bikini lets say.. or my wrist.. any suggestions?

And if you notice on the sweat peas there is a shine with the initials of my son and daughter. A K and a G.. I love it

of the new ones, I like the last one best. It could look nice in between your shoulder blades with the vines going down your spine, but then it's still not something you'd see yourself. It'd actually fit really well as a chest piece but that's quite an extreme place to get a tattoo if you don't have many! It'd possibly fit on the top of your foot with the vines towards your toes?

Thank you! I should have specified.. I don't want it to be too big. Something small-ish and discreet.

I think if you want the shaded initials to be visible the tattoo artist would probably advise not to go too small, it's much harder to get any detail into a little tattoo.

On your foot would fit perfectly, but if you wanted smaller I'd say on your wrist would work. When I picture your designs, I can't imagine them being any smaller than 2-3 inches long. You should print out the one you like best in a few different sizes, cut them out, and then experiment by placing them on different areas of your body that you'd consider having the tattoo. That way you can get a feel for what sort of size you are comfortable with and where you think it'd look best x

It'd look lovely on your neck I think but obv you wouldn't be able to see it then.

Maybe your ankle or your foot?

mazndave - I was thinking about this. I've asked OH to print it out at work so we can have a play around and see what we like.

It took me 3 years to decide what I like to have done, I hope it doesn't take me another 3 years to decide where I want it done!!
