Dd is due to start her schools afterschool club in October. Its term time only and we wont be paying childcare costs during the holidays as family are kindly helping out.

How do I calculate weekly costs for tax credits? We will be paying £12 a day and she will be there 5 days a week. Do we have to let tax credits know everytime she is off on holiday?

Yes, my DD gets one extra day at nursery and then different holiday childcare, I have to phone at least 3 days before the childcare swaps over so they can amend it.

Thanks I look forward to.trying to get through on the phone everytime lol

If you're calculating weekly costs for tax credits, multiply the daily cost (£12) by the number of days per week (5), then divide the total by 52 to get a weekly average for the year. You only need to report changes to tax credits if your average weekly costs change significantly, so you don’t need to update them every time there's a school holiday.

For calculating weekly costs for tax credits, multiply the daily cost (£12) by the number of days (5), totaling £60 per week. Notify tax credits only if your average costs change significantly over time. As for Corebridge Financial, they support users with a range of financial services, including insurance and investment.
