Just wondering how accurate mothers instinct is. I have been convinced all through pregnancy (apart from 1week) that I am having a boy. Just curious if we make predictions how accurate our instincts are. I know obviously a 50/50 chance but if someone gave me money I would put it all down on a boy!
Anyone else team yellow that wants to predict and see if our gut instincts are right or anyone else that was team yellow and had baby have a strong feeling and been proven right?

Im team yellow too & my gut says im having a boy- will have to wait & see! x

I'm pretty sure I'm having a boy. All the dreams I've had about the baby are that it's a boy. Well find out in 5 weeks or so

i'm team yellow too...and i'm also convinced i've got a little man in here!

Team yellow but I think mine is a pink one!

Team yellow too - had a feeling from day 1 its a boy. DH thinks girl but we shall see! xx

We're also team yellow but I've had a gut feeling I'm having a boy since day one :)

Im team yellow, i am convinced i am having a boy, somedays think girl but mailnly convinced boy.

All through my first pregnancy I had the strongest instinct I was carrying a boy. I was drawn to boys clothes and dh and I could NOT think of a girls name at all. When I delivered, my husband told me, thrilled, it was a boy!! It was the strangest, strongest feeling!! This time I don't have any gut feeling at all! Had 3 dreams in 1 night I delivered a girl but that's it! 2 midwives have said boy listening to the heartbeat, sounds like a train app!! Not sure how much science is behind heart rhythm!! Shall have to wait and see...

With my DS I was convinced it was a boy, even referring to bump as 'he'. This time round I'm sure it's a girl. Not long to go now so will just have to wait and see x

I'm not team yellow but before my 20 week scan I just knew we were having a girl, when I was browsing the clothes in shops I had to remind myself that I might have a boy and need to look at boys things too, chinese gender predictor said boy but most old wives tales pointed to girl. But back to the original subject on instinct, I think if they had told me I was having a boy I think I would have fallen off the bed! It was overwhelming when they said we were having a little girl, I was genuinly happy for either but it was nice knowing my instinct was right :) good luck ladies x

Im team yellow & had a strong feeling that this LO is a pink one. I dont have anything to base this on as this is my first but will be interesting if this mothers intuition business has any truth to it :)

We have a name, OH thinks it is a girl but is still calling it "he" in the hope that it'll be a boy. Hehe.

I dont actually mind either way - I am just happy to be pregnant & growing this little person. Whatever it may be it will still be loved just as much :-D excited to find out what it is though. Xx

I say I think boy cause it's the safer option (have a DS already and don't feel as guilty saying he to bump cause I'm so used to with DS) but I actually think girl!

With DS I was team yellow and knew it was a boy, no doubt about it! Whereas this time even tho I don't mind either way, I can't shake the girl feeling! Only 10 weeks to go!... So far away lol

I don't really have a gut feeling any more but earlier in pregnancy I had a strong feeling that bubs is a girl. I was making more effort to think of girls names, looking more at girls clothes. I'm not sure if it was an instinct or me preparing myself for a girl as before being pregnant always wanted a boy, especially for the 1st. Then when your pregnant it hits you that it may not be a boy and i would so feel guilty about feeling disappointed if it was a girl!! not sure that makes any sense at all, but if that's the case it worked as now I'll be happy with boy or girl.

Most people think my bump is a boy though....will find out in a couple of months :)

I'm not team yellow. But ever since I found out I was pregnant at 5 weeks I was adamant bubs was a boy. We had his name picked from about 6 weeks. Neither of us could look at girls clothes. When we got to our 20 week scan and they told us we were having a boy our gut instinct was confirmed. :) x

I think a mothers instinct is very strong, the minute i got my positive test i knew i was having a boy! and i was right lol

We are team yellow still also and predicting boy. A nurse even predicted boy based on heart beat and movement during my non stress test. Though I'd be happy either way. Just ready to meet our little one. :cloud9: :coffee:

I was convinced with my first pregnancy that I was carrying a boy and I would've been shocked if a girl popped out but he was indeed a boy!! This time around I'm getting more girl vibes but the feeling is nowhere near as strong as last time so we shall see :)

We're convinced we're having a little boy.

All of the old wives gender predictors point towards boy too, other than the morning sickness one (I was sick 4-5 times a day until week 14).

We're the opposite with the names though; have had our girls name picked out from before we we're pregnant, but are really struggling to decide on a boys name. Think we're going to wait until LO is here and then decide which name fits!

xx
