teen mum on world's strictest parents!

I'm watching World's Strictest Parent's on BBC3 right now and I'm completely shocked at this girl!

She is 17 and a STM. Yet she goes out most nights and gets drunk on the streets, gets drunk and falls down the stairs in her mums house with her little daughter there, drinks and has loud music up while the baby is sitting sleeping, lets her mum raise her daughter basically etc. etc. she just doesn't seem interested in her daughter at all and more in getting drunk and acting like a prat.

Her excuse? "I'm 17, I'm supposed to have fun!". I mean wtf!? We all want to have fun but we grow up. We want to be with our LOs, we don't act like little 13 year olds sitting on street corners getting drunk from massive amounts of drink! Some people just infuriate me. No wonder teen mums get such a bad reputation with people like her flitting about.

I know it isn't teen mums that act like that it's just the way the media portrays us

she just threw a tantrum because she couldn't wear shorts and t-shirt since they didn't go with this family's rules (they are very religious Mormons attending a Mormon fammily BBQ so wanted her to be respectful of that). She said it was "wrecking her head" and everything

The sad part is that some mom's (teen or not) really ARE like that. Makes me feel awful for the child(ren) involved.

I hate things like that that give teen mums a bad name It wouldn't be so bad if they showed some good ones on tv from time to time! x

i agree with everyone else!
we all get such a bad name... but really most of us do amazing jobs!
they should do a t.v programme on all us teen BnB girls... then they'd soon see some of us can do an amazing if not better job than some 'older' mums urghh it annoys me sooooo much! x

I saw that, her attitude was disgusting!
I also saw when they went back for a catch up thing, to be fair she did seem like she had changed for the better a bit.

ahhh.. i think most mum's do that a bit.. but nobody would want to watch a decent teen mum, doing a great job raising her child? people wouldn't be intrested and it would get programme ratings up xxxx

I hate people like this! For one she should never be allowed to have the child when there are millions of familys out there who would love to have a baby and would raise it in a loving family enviroment. It really angers me when people do not live up to their responsiblitys and effect other peoples lives! And secondaly it shows another horrible sterotype about a teen mum!

i didnt see it but i know they display teen mums as bad all the time on tv..
if they are single its like they go out partying ,drinking smoking etc
if they have a partner they always arguing and screaming everyday like there isnt such things as happy families at a young age?
if it was happy stories they wouldnt wanna show it anyway ,so annoying x

Aw I saw that ages ago. When you have a baby, whatever age, you've gotta accept life will change to some extent... some people just don't get that... so sad xx
