I know its not advised to clean babies teeth straight after meals due to the increased acid in the mouth. I just wondered when othwer people found the best time to clean teeth- its yet another battle in our house!!

I clean max's teeth 20 min after he ate his brekkie and right before bed time

I have to do Lewis's after his top & tail in the morning and after his bath at night.

Both times are before his meals and I would like to do them after he's eaten but he has his breakfast/tea then milk afterwards and falls asleep pretty much straight away......:dohh:

I guess I could do them after he wakes up (this wouldn't work after tea) but if we've gone out in the morning it wouldn't work either.

The most important time is just before bed time as saliva is reduced in the night and not as affective in washing sugars and things away

we do Hannah's (only usually manage to remember once a day right now ) right after her bath at night (she's usually mad anyways )

Before her morning bath and before her bedtime bath.. Both after meals, I didn't know you weren't supposed to.

I only do them once a day in the morning. I think I should start doing them in the evening too before bed after her last bottle. I'm lucky because she really likes having it done!

I only manage once. While he's having a bath. Yeah, when he's actually in it. He used to like it, then he hated it. Now he almost tolerates it...

Caitlyn finally likes it now :happydance: Changed her tooth brush, she still won't let me do it with her old one.

what kind do you use, Toria?
