I keep seeing cute baby leggings on all the cloth nappy sites, I don't think my OH would like them but screw him :P :haha:

I just have a few questions:

Do your babies just wear them around the house or when your out and about?

Are there many baby boy wearers (not that it matters like)

He's still mostly wearing newborn clothes, are they better for when they're toddling and crawling?

TIA:thumbup:

edit: Oops, didn't see the other thread!

My LO is a girl so she wears them under dresses with socks tucked under them, as well as with a t-shirt and nappy, or just a nappy or nothing around the hosue. It makes nappy changes easier cos you don't have to take them off and means that you can still see her cute nappy. I would definitely put them on a boy, both in and out of the house, especially in summer when you get those days that are just a bit chilly but too hot for trousers. As I said, they make nappy changes really easy too. They're also great under trousers when it's cold, especially if you babywear cos baby's trousers sometimes ride up and they can get chilly ankles.

They are fantastic for when LO starts crawling because they protect their knees but give them more freedom of movement than trousers like jeans. They are lovely on newborns too though, especially when you're changing so many nappies!

Daniel has 3 pairs of leggings.
I tend to keep a pair in my bag as spare trousers when out as they don't take up much room. Also ideal for popping on if it suddenly gets too cold for shorts!

Aww your little boy is gorgeous! Gabe had some lovely leggings that fir him up until a few weeks ago, I might try and find some more.

Jake currently has two pairs. He will be having more!

He wears them out of the house :) I got mine from ebay for about £3 a pair or something, really cheap!! They do need to be washed inside out as they tend to bobble!

My OH was dubious at first but he's not any more! x

Binxy - I envy everything you have for Daniel! It's all so bright and colourful and amazing!

By wearing them in the house I don't mean out of shame, :haha: I just wondered if they were designed for that purpose

Binxy your LO looks so cute in his leggings! I'm off to get some :happydance:

I just explained what they are to my OH, and, let's just say, he doesn't like them :(

Mine will find out what they are when he comes home and sees them on the baby  he wont like them either but he'll have to deal with it!!!

im gonna get some for EJ lol and the new baby will wear them too

ha ha u girls are funny- im now doing the same- i have ordered 5 pairs and i know my OH will be like 'what are they'

i saw kawaiigirls Ruby with them and i was thinkin they look crazy- now i love them and they defo look good on boys too

Ah... forgive my ignorance, but are baby leggings not just tights without feet? I've heard a few people say they make changing easier and such but you still have to pull them down over the nappy no?

Help is needed.. thanks

Babylegs dont go over the nappy :) My avitar is my LO wearing her pink spotty babylegs from ebay. They stop at the thigh so cant be kept on. You can get leggings that go over the nappy as well though. I put LO in them all the time, shes always crawling round in a vest and leg warmers! I use them mainly for babywearing as it is an extra layer on her legs. I put her in a sleepsuit if shes going to be in the sling for a while (just for comfort) and as theyre only thin I like to layer her up :)

Thanks! I hadn't realized that!
