It's so disconcerting. I started having control issues at around 22-24 weeks. I'm religious about my Kegel exercises in the hopes that I will be able to have some kind of control after birth. I figure it's because of the hormones and uterus pressure on the bladder.
And hoping like you that it isn't a sign of how bad it's going to be
I hate to say it, but there's a chance you'll still have this problem after giving birth as well. Ever since my first pregnancy, I've hand to stop walking and really focus before I sneeze, whether I'm pregnant or not. I find it just gets worse during a new pregnancy. But if you didn't have issues after your first pregnancy maybe you won't this one either.
(This being said, I'm also horrible at remembering to do Kegels, so hopefully you have better luck than me!)
To be fair during my first pregnancy, I only noticed during the last few weeks that I couldn't hold on for very long at all, suddenly I would have to go and I would have to go there and then! Afterwards, there was nothing wrong with my control at all.
This time I'm a bit worried that at only 25 weeks I dribbled when I sneezed! Plus last time was a csection, this time I'm hoping for a VBAC, which I'm sure will put added strain down there.
Oh dear! Oh well.. they're worth it (The kids... not the dribbles of wee )
Happened to me the first time the other day. In my defense I wasn't expecting the sneeze or think I have to pee. It hasn't happened since, and I'm a constant sneezer!
Haha... I was going to make a post about this myself. I have had this happen several times over the last month or so, and it's usually a little bit that comes out... well not the other night. I full on peed my pants. Enough to where I had to change not just my underwear but my shorts. LOL oh man.
During my first pregnancy around 32weeks I wet the bed I woke up soaked! I thought my waters had gone went hospital just to be told no darling you've only pissed yourself, I could've died of embarrassment! "
