Apparently alcohol can give you a temp rise

Yeah I've been on holiday and my temps were higher all week last week, and that was from only 2 drinks a night - makes you wonder what else its doing to our bodies? LOL

Yep, when I was temping before, it did it every time!

Most definitely higher. I had to wipe out 2 days of temps last weekend after a couple of night with drinks.
